SIWF to send 5 athletes to the Oceania and Olympic qualifiers

The Solomon Islands Weightlifting Federation will be sending 5 athletes to the 2024 Oceania and Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers this month in Auckland, New Zealand from the 21st to the 25th February.

The team consist of 4 females and 1 male, according to the federation, the athletes were selected based on their performances during the Pacific Games and recent regional competitions, the federation further added the competition is very important because it is also an Olympic qualifier.
