Sailing Federation receives training gears

National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands through its equipment grant recently assist Solomon Islands Sailing with inflatable life jackets. Receiving the inflatable jackets, Sports Development Officer and Sailing Coach, Geoffrey Sall Baragamu thanked the Olympic Committee for the timely assistance. These inflatable jackets will really improve the training of the athletes. He further explained inflatable jackets is required and is mandatory that all athletes must wear it during training and competition for the safety of athletes. Secretary General of the NOCSI, Ms Melinda Avosa in response said, the NOC is happy to assist its National Member Federations especially when it comes to athletes and to assist National Federations implement its programs.
