We are thrilled to share the fantastic news of a successful one-day BLS Training that took place on the 23rd Oct and 24th Oct at the state-of-the-art Aquatic/Swimming Pool facilities, here in Honiara. Thanks to the unwavering support of Olympic Solidarity, NOCSI, ONOC, and GOC, this training was made possible, and we are immensely grateful for their collaboration.
We are proud to announce that a grand total of 55 participants from five different Pre-Hospital agencies actively took part in this comprehensive training program. Their commitment to enhancing their skills in providing essential life support is commendable.
Skills Acquired: Through the BLS Training, participants gained the essential skills necessary to provide initial emergency care, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, airway management, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
These skills will be invaluable in effectively responding to medical emergencies during the upcoming Pacific Games.We are immensely proud of all the participants for their commitment to professionalism and their dedication to enhancing their knowledge and expertise in pre-hospital emergency care.
