The team of 5 weightlifters from the Solomon Islands competing at the Oceania and Olympic qualifiers that begins this morning at 10am in Auckland are all set to compete.
According to the team Solomon coach to the Championship, after their final training session yesterday the team of 5 weightlifters from the Solomon Islands competing at the Oceania and Olympic qualifiers that begins this morning at 10am in Auckland are all set and are physically and mentally prepared to compete.
Janita Ereanimae competing in the women 45kg will kick off team Solomon Islands at the championships followed by Freeman Aumalefo in the mens 61 kg at 1pm and wrapping of the first day at 4pm is Iron Lady Jenly Tegu Wini and Lorah Maelosia competing in the women's 55kg. Mary Kini Lifu competing in the women 59kg will be a lone competitor on the second day at 1pm. The athletes are looking forward to the competition and will give their best against their other oceania brothers and sisters the coach said.
