It was indeed a colorful opening ceremony on monday the 27th Started of with a parade from the unity square all the way to the Lawson Tama Stadium. The official opening of the VII Solomon Games was graced with the presence of the Hon Prime Minister of Solomon Islands Hon Manasseh Sogavare who officially declared the games open.
The past two days of the Solomon Games was exciting. Raw talents were delivering the results and won medals for their provinces, fulfilling the VII Solomon Games Theme, 'UNITY and EXCELLENCE'. The third day of the Solomon Games kicks off today with following sports to begin their competitions, Rugby 7s, Va'a, Taekwondo and 3x3 Basketball. The third day will again full of excitement and provincial athletes showcasing their raw talents.
